I just want to express appreciation for all the helpful information at this site and xda. I just successfully flashed the hard spl and the Hyperdragon IV Rhodium. What an improvement!
In the process I found that someone had already flashed the hard spl to olipro 1.0. (I bought the phone on ebay) When googling olipro 1.0 a pointer brought me to xda forums that it wasn't too compatible with Win 6.1, problems with freezing and poor response. That was an eye opener. Through the noob primer I reflashed the hard spl to 3.29, and flashed to Hyperdragon. I am thankful, and as soon as my ebay account is activated (I tried already, but your site won't receive a credit card transaction through paypal) I will send my gift.
I don't understand why rtc or microsoft will not subsidize your work. Instead of fighting you, they should applaud and pay. Your work makes their products more attractive, easier to use, and you cater directly to consumer needs and desires. I'm not going to abandon microsoft because of Hyperdragon. On the contrary, efforts like yours and the others at xda make Microsoft better. (now if there were only seemless sync with open office. . )

Thanks. All done. Everything worked smooth. Only, in my noob world, I spent about half an hour waiting for the config screen to pop, after the flashing completed message.

As a last resort, I decided to go on with the flashing, and hard reset. And all was OK. Maybe that needs to be specified, if it's not something hardware related.

Both of the links in this thread for HardSPL and CIDunlocker give an error.

Flashed the new 6.5 mega rom this past weekend and everything works great. Even fixed some small issues with an older Hyperdragon 3 rom that the phone came with...one quick question is what does the H next to the signal strength bar mean? In the old rom, i got a G for 3G but im guess the H replaces that.

Hello All,
HELP!!!
The 2nd time I tried flashing my ROM with the HyperDragon_IV_Mega_6.5 - everything went smoothly until the update got to 16% then boom I got a dreaded 262 error. I have been fishing around for a solution without any luck.
I used JumpSPL1.56-KAIS and I can get it back into the 3 color screen - but it will not update - I keep getting the 262 error.
