If you’re using the new IE6 (also known as IEMobile 8.12) as cooked in HyperDragon III Raphael 13 Jan and 15 Nov then open the following registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"AutoSearchProvider"="http://m.live.com/Search/Results.aspx?mid=8002&lc=en-us&q="

For standard/old IE6:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Search Page"="http://m.live.com/search/Results.aspx?q=%s&mid=8001"

To set google as default search engine, replace the value with the following code:

http://www.google.com/m?dc=gorganic&source=mobileproducts&mrestrict=xhtml&eosr=on&ct=fsh&q=
