   I want to flash this ROM. I have never flashed a ROM before, been looking around doing some research and yours seem to be the best.
   Just want to know if this is the final version, or if there is another version on it’s way soon.
   Are you going to fix the volume control bug?

   There will always newer version coming Please just flash this rom and give me some feedback, I need comments from users so I can build a better rom. Regarding volume control bug, let MS fix it. FYI In Call Volume is still working.

    Make sure you install HardSPL prior flashing this rom! Download it here: Install Kaiser HardSPL, read the instructions carefully!

    1) Sakajati, have always love your ROMS but I have stuck with HD IIIs W6.1 because it was my impression that aside from being in beta, W6.5 was not really designed for the Tilt which is what I have.

    2) Does anyone know whether W6.5 works with Tom Tom Navigator App Version 7.450, Sprite Backup 5.1, Opera 9, Phone recorder,Skyfire,and TCMP?

    3) What is “gesture?”

    4) Does this ROM require the “keyboard fix?”

    @tetrasect

    1) Not sure where you ever heard 6.5 wasn’t designed for the Tilt. Every version i’ve used (and i’ve flashed quite a good bit) of 6.5 roms have worked great on my Tilt.

    2) I dunno bout the rest of em, but Tom Tom 7.910.9185 works fine for me with 6.5, dunno bout 7.450 don’t use that version anymore

    @Yusuke

    1)It was my understanding that the Tilt was designed for use with the stylus and the keyboard. “Touch Flo” was an attempt to get the Tilt to act more like the I Phone by increasing the screen sensitivity. When our Fearless Leader first posted a W6.5 early this year, many people said they had problems with it. I have not flashed much because I don’t like to have to re-load everything. I never got Sprite to work right and I thought I read that Sashimi should only be used to back up to the same ROM.

    2) I thought Manila was just for W6.1

    3) I got my Tom Tom through the XDA website. It sounds like your version is an update. Where did you get your version?

    4) Is “gesture” essentially a replacement for “touch flo?” If not, what is it?

    5) What is the problem with the volume control?

    6) Do you like this ROM better than the other W6.5 or W6.1 you have flashed?

    1) I’ve never had any problems, so i dunno. And I dunno anything bout Sprite Backup or Sashimi, don’t use either of them
    2) There is a new Manila2d 2.0 19191432 that works for 6.5 and looks a lot fancier
    3) I got mine from here
    I stuck with the 7.910.9185 cause i don’t like how the two newer ones handle routing. They clear the route once you reach your destination, which imo sucks cause it’s hard to back track.

    Hi Sakajati. I flashed your ROM, very impressed. everything seems to work and seems very stable. only one small problem i’ve noticed. On some of the screens, there is no labels for the left and right softkeys. For example, in contacts and messaging.

    Ive flashed your latest rom (20091012), but the booting stops at the orange wm 6.5 screen. The green led flashing like normal. Do you have any idea?

    A double hard reset, and a battery remove solves the problem:D

    Appreciate your help. Went to that Tom Tom site and found it confusing. There are a number of downloads. Which one, if it is one, do I need to replace what I have? How about the maps. Where did you get them?

    Finally, where is the Manila 2D for 6.5.

    Of note : I’ve tried several of the HD4/WM6.5 roms lately and found that they seem to corrupt storage when doing too many things at once.

    A few days ago I had GoogleMaps running, and got a phone call. I was able to take the call, but afterwards the device was totally hosed. Pulled the battery, it booted once but wouldn’t launch TouchFlo .. after that, it would get stuck on the orange WinMO screen.

    Usually if I can get to the “clear storage” prompt, I can recover from it .. but no luck this time. Even re-flashing the same ROM got stuck in the same spot (this was the same one that worked before) .. finally ended up going back to a HD3 version ROM that was pretty solid just to get the phone working again.

    Ahh .. life on the bleeding edge.

    I’ve installed it and so far have very few issues with it.

    There is the problem with the volume. I installed the set volume cab, but can’t find anywhere where it will let me set split volume for ringer/system.

    Put 20 in your account. Hope that helps.

    Sent you another $20 US by paypal. You should almost be at your goal. I have had one of the IIIs from December on my Tilt. I am going to take the plunge into 6.5 and hopefully will not have anything but positive comments.

    Hello,

    I installed a few days ago, and it works very well. I only have 1 issue and 1 question.

    Issue: Kinoma player cannot reproduce all files, the same files worked with WM6.1, but now there is some problem.

    Question: Flashlite is installed by default. Is there any way to disable o uninstall?

    3) Any finger/stylus action on device screen is called gesture (tap, tap n hold, scroll, etc).

    4) Yes, if you have a Tilt then you need to install keyb fix.

    It’s not necessary, just make sure to make hardreset after flash the rom.

    Yeah initial setup take a little bit longer, please wait for about 30 secs before you tap the screen to setup device.

    No stuck/hang issue so far here, fyi the htc taskmanager is not cooked in this rom so make sure you check default task manager often to manage running programs. Don’t let too many program open. I’ve attached task manager link to button 6 on latest release for easier access to taskmgr.

    Try disable activex in IE, or just use Skyfire for faster browsing. I’ll check the issue with kinoma player.

    Just flashed your latest ROM.
    Everything seems to be working great, no crashes/freezes, and a little quicker than the earlier releases.

    @Ben. I justed tested the MMS and it is working fine. Could be a location/radio problem, or maybe your connection did not set up correctly. Make sure the USB cable is unplugged after flashing the ROM, before the phone goes through it’s setup.

    Hi Sakajati… i´m using your latest rom since last tuestday (20) and i´m very happy with it… it´s very fast, don´t crash, and it´s very beautifull and easy to use… the only thing i miss (i was using original WM 6.0 and the update to 6.1) is the Videocall… i use my tytnII a lot, but one thing i use must is the videocall (my wife is a little jealous and call me a lot hehehehe)… is there any way to use videocall in your rom or it´s impossible? If videocall can´t be used in your rom, is there any application that i can install to use it?

    Haven’t downloaded this one as yet but I use the 6.5 version from May and have been pretty happy with it besides not getting WIFI to work and experiencing other small glitches.

    I have an unlimited 3G plan so that’s why I didn’t miss the WIFI too much other than when I’m in my own basement.

    Nonetheless, I read about your financial pains in this forum and I have derived so much benefits from your work on Windows Mobile over the last year or so I have donated $40.

    I hope you are able to survive and thrive and keep up all the good work.

    Hi Sakajati!

    Just wanted to say, this particular ROM kicks much ass, simply fantastic and now WIFI is back in the basement even after applying Tilt Keyboard CAB fix.

    I reloaded all programs and data and now I’m off to the races, I think this is my best mobile experience to date - everything is working for me so I feel rather lucky and I like the true WM 6.5 feel and flow.

    Thx a million again Saj! I will donate more money next week when I get paid.

    When I go to start->settings->connections->wifi->wireless networks->network adapters tab and try to Use specific IP adress for anything I get the [ . . . ] window to put in my IP. The problem is no matter what I do I can enter only 2 digits between every dot, so eg. 192.168.0.1 is impossible. My bluetooth has IP 19.16.0.1 set, which is funny, but even funnier is the fact that it works. A bug? Is there anywhere I could set whole IPs at?

    I have a problem with GPS. If I run GPS app (autosputnik, GarminMobileXT etc) immediately after OS loading, all ok, but if I run it after few seconds applications hang with error.
    Can you help me?

    There is a memory management issue with kaiser running wm6.5, I’m still looking for a solution. For now, disable any today plugin and ezinput to free some memory.

    hi there.
    i am a registered member of ur site and a lover of ur ROMS, but the first 6.5 put me off as it gave me 3 major problems that i stated in that ROM post.
    now i am hopping this one would be better but then i have a problem even though i have not installed it yet, simply because i can’t download it. the upload site u have the files at are blocked here in china, and when i proxify them it opens but as i submit the code to download, it tells me i have a maximum upload limit or something. i don’t get it?? and the code (number) comes again for me to input. is there anyway i can get another mirror at rapidshare or something??

    in the other version i was talking about, i had 3 major problems,
    1. anytime i switched on the phone, it first showed the messaging program but non of my sms would show, and i simply have to close it.

    2.when i scrolled thru the contacts, the color selection would jumble up. i mean like when u have the selected contact, the color is different from the unselected ones, as i scroll thru, those colors mix and makes it hard to tell the selected contact.
    and

    3. that version of ROM made the phone freeze for no reason frequently. so i jumped back to the 6.1.

    now i am hopping this one is better than the other one. but then back to square one!, i can’t download it here in CHINA!!

    I am having an issue with the AVRCP bluetooth profile. This is the profile that allows wireless bluetooth stereo headsets to control forward, back, pause, and play. This has worked in all your previous WM 6.5 ROMs but doesn’t work on this one. The profile shows up under the bluetooth settings page too. I have tried this with two different devices so it is not my device. Any idea why this isn’t working?

    Try this new version, make sure you make a hardreset after flash and don’t use backup program to restore your data.

    Noticed something, my FN key on the hard keyboard does not make me type the numbers or symbols, that is what i have noticed so far, the contact problem is fixed now and the phone freezes are no more.
    i would post another problem i get. 1 question. is gfxboox compatible with this??

    Run Keyboard Layout in Programs\Utils to fix it. I haven’t try the gfxboost yet, you can try it though.

    HELP!

    On my 2nd attempt flashing the HyperDragon_IV_Mega_6.5 ROM - the rom updater dies at 16%. Since then I have tried rebooting, switching computer, switching USB and I am stuck.

    The rom updater starts and then dies at 0% with a 262 error.

    What should I do???

    Well I fixed my problem. I did not have HardSPL installed.

    So I got it working - very nice. I have a problem - that my phone rings - but no volume or vibrate. When I set it up the ringtone - I do hear it.

    Any ideas?

    The problem about IP I mentioned few weeks ago seems to appear in many versions 6.5 ROMs. I found this today:

    It fixes the field and can even be included when cooking the ROM, nice.

    I love this ROM. Very responsive. I was upset with the original AT&T rom so I tried the original HTC Kaiser rom. Still with the unresponsive unpredictable touch screen. Almost threw that piece of (expensive) junk in the trash. But then I downloaded your ROM. You saved my phone. You saved my life .
    Anyway, there’s a few problems. I don’t know if it’s your rom or my phone’s fault. First of all, the slide unlock screen may slow or not show up at all after locking, but the screen is dimmed and all keys are locked. I can still touch the screen and access some program (some has trouble, like SBP Mobile Shell.) I can crank the light back up, but still locked. So I’m stuck unless I reset.
    After reset, it starts with the unlocking screen.
    Second, sometimes Wifi is on. Checking properties everything… says that it’s connected. My router name shows up. IP was assigned. But the icon on top bar does not change to the connected icon. Can’t connect to internet from any program. Click on the top icon, it says no network connected. Check wifi again, it says connected, with valid IP. Reset, it’s connected.
    I know the rom is still not perfect yet. So just reporting, not complaining
