RUNCC: Just Another Way to Automatically Install Your Cabs

Requirements

HyperDragon IV Mega 6.5 ROM OR Any rom which has the following features: RunCC package (found in HTC Rhodium, HTC Mega, etc), NetCF (for my little program RunMyCC.exe).
Notepad2 or other advance text editor.

Installation

Install SJ MyRunCC.cab (make sure you install it to storage card). The cab installs the following files to your device:
- RunMyCC.exe in \windows
- RunMyCC.lnk (shortcut to RunMyCC.exe) in Start\Programs
- runcc.lua in \storage card\runcc
- myconfig.txt in \storage card\runcc
Move all cabs you want to install to \storage card\runcc folder

Copy myconfig.txt to your computer and edit it using Notepad2, here’s the default content as example:

LOCK:Enabled
TSK: \windows\Rock and Republic black.tsk
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplicationHere.cab
LOCK:Disabled
RST: Reset

Another example:

LOCK:Enabled
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication1.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication2.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication3.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication4.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication5.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication6.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication7.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication8.cab
CAB: \storage card\runcc\YourApplication9.cab
LOCK:Disabled
RST: Reset

Put myconfig.txt back to \storage card\runcc.
Run MyRunCC (located in Start\Programs). It will reboot your device and the installation process should begin.

That’s it, please test it and report here the result. I’ll update this post with some more details later.

It’s a very Great Tools to install the cab.BUT,I think there are some places to update for use.

1, I think this tool needn’t to install, just a .exe file to run and install all cab in the one or two folder.
2, If I can choose where(Phone or Storage card) DO I install the cabs I will feel amazing.(one folder named phone, another named card)
3, The config file, maybe can simple than now. can use * and other symbol.
