… Thanks a million to Google! Here’s a step by step to setup your push gmail:
1. Open the ActiveSync and select Add Server Source.
2. Enter Email Address, leave the detect server option unchecked.
3. Enter m.google.com as the server address, ensure that the SSL option is checked.
4. Enter your Google User name & Password, leave the Domain field empty.
5. Choose the data you want to sync and tap Finish.
6. That’s it, you’re done!

do not understand meaning of it. I already use gmail via smtp - IMHO it is more usefull.

In the latest build, it won’t let you get past the DOMAIN field (you can’t leave it blank).

use “google” (- quotes) in the DOMAIN field if it won’t let you get past that. I have also noticed that the only time that it forced me to enter the DOMAIN was if I did not put the @gmail.com on the end of the USERNAME field.
