Sorry guys for being away, I’ve been under stress due to financial problem. The business is getting worse and worse, I’m afraid I won’t be able to support this website anymore and may also have to sell my device (God I hope this won’t happend). To all hyperdragon users, please consider to support/donate, it may help me so I don’t have to sell this crapy device. Thanks in advance! Enjoy this new rom and let me know for any bugs you found!

ummmm… I’m not seeing anything about ActiveSync. I can’t get it to sync with my work exchange email. Exchange 2007 with ssl required. Getting error: 0×85010013.
Then tried to setup my Personal Email which is POP and getting a SSL error and that server does not require SSL?
Am I missing something?
Also I noticed in Activesync I can’t select medianet in the connection properties. Only “Internet”

Sakajati,
I have a problem, whenever a new txt msg comes I’m not getting any sound with the new rom. Aside from that, remarkable rom.
May 5th, 2009 at 10:39 pm
Using this as my first WM6.5 ROM and have some problems / questions:
- Touchpal is not working anymore , “can not be loaded”, is this normal for WM6.5. Worked perfect on the previous HD ROMs .
- How can I switch from 3G to GPRS Network . CommManager does not offer the function, and in the phone settings I can not find a band switch tab in the phone settings at all.
Thanks for any help

I will install it when a download link is not posted. Not through a toolbar. I hate those toolbars.
Sorry to hear about your situation. I will try to help.
May 6th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
Love the new ROM so far. One problem: I get a message “Ringtone file not valid” whenever I try to select any ringtone file. Only thing I can get to work is “Vibrate.”
Thanks for the great work — I will be donating shortly.
May 6th, 2009 at 1:51 pm
Hi, the Roms is very nice. I can use IE to connect to 3g/hspda, but with email i get error sync problems. The Network settings are the same as with your previous rom. What could it be?
May 6th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
Problem Solved in the email settings the default connection was work, changed it to internet and works perfectly.
May 7th, 2009 at 12:00 am
Just a question: Does Opera Browser works with this ROM?
The problems with the Opera Browser where the main reason why I stop using the last HD WM 6.5 ROM.
Thanks a lot, Sakajati, for all your hard work!

@NutsPT
I had the same wifi problems caused by a bad flash - I reflashed the ROM and it works fine now
My only problem is that the incoming call ring has a huge delay and does not work properly when the phone is locked. I think it may be a conflict with the dialer as they both use replacements for the incoming caller alert

@Edwin:
I got Opera Mobile running perfectly on this ROM, but I have to do this to ensure the best performance of eveything, specially Opera:
Disable Large Title Bar, disable Large Start Menu, disable the ‘X’ button on today screen.
Besides, when running Opera, can not run defalt theme ‘Rock and Republic black and the default Windows home titanium plugin. Need to whther change a theme or disable titanium.
After those, the opera runs very smooth and fast. Only one thing, I did not find the way for this Opera to associate its bookmark with PIE favorites, the normal registry tweak doesn’t work.
@All,
Found the ringtone & notification problem probably caused by the ‘large title bar’, after disable ‘lg title bar, lg start menu & ‘X’ button, you will find it’s even faster and smoother.
This Rom is perfect on these: Activesync, smooth and punctual, fast touch screen responses, power management and certainly speed and stable.
And like SJ recommended, better use the SJ Utils & QuickMenu, to solve the problems of notification.
May 10th, 2009 at 11:36 pm
I mean better not to run these three together, but run two of them no problem: Default theme; windows default today plugin and opera mobile 15954.
May 10th, 2009 at 11:49 pm
Opera Mobile V.15954 can be found here:

May 11th, 2009 at 2:45 pm
where do you disable “Disable Large Title Bar, disable Large Start Menu, disable the ‘X’ button on today screen” ?
Found nothing in the installed prgram list nor in today plug ins ?
Thanks Freecall
May 11th, 2009 at 8:28 pm
@Freecall
You can use ‘SJ Utils’ to disable the lg title bar & lg start menu, the download link is right on this page. Scroll upward this page, below the screenshots, there is SJ’s ‘Notes’ about this ROM, click the green words ‘SJ Utils & QuickMenu’, you’ll start the download.
To disable the ‘X’ button on today screen, two ways: Click on the ‘X’, then click on the ’setting’ icon on the dropdown menu , you’ll see the task manager page, in the ‘button’ tab, uncheck the ‘Enable Quick Menu on Today Screen’, done. Another way is tap Start >> Settings >> System >> Task Manager.
If you installed the ‘QuickMenu’ program, it will disable the ‘x’ button for you, then you don’t need to manually do it.
If you playaround with the ‘QuickMenu’ program, you’ll find a way to use the ‘Window’ icon to realize the same function of the ‘X’ button.
BTW, Freecall, did you find a solution for your Touchpal program? I think there should be a WM6.5 compatible version for such a popular program. Maybe you try google ‘touchpal wm6.5′ can find it.
May 13th, 2009 at 1:58 am
Nice rom.
I started Playing around with the plugins with your rom. I have added commanger and Favorite people plugins. The Favorite people worked right away. The com manager did not work util version .22 (requires mortscript install). For my phone WI-FI did not work with or without the plugin until I installed quick menu. Just wanted to say thanks and post the 6.5 stuff link 6.5 stuff - xda developers has thems - plugins more.

May 13th, 2009 at 3:55 pm
Update: Please don’t touch the ‘Large Start Menu’ at the moment, found sometimes DISABLE it can directly cause the ringtone problem.
Sorry for misguiding, guys!
But I found maybe we can keep the default theme and titanium plugin. Still working on it. I really like them in this ROM, although I used to have an ‘empty today’ without any plugin. Actually they are working well, just I’m too sensative on speed myself.
The Wifi working well on my TYTN II, without any problem since fresh flashing.
Anyway this is another great rom after IOLITE, my opinion.
Thanks, Sakajati.

how about including some sort of call recording software in ur ROM… like this http://forum.xda-developers.co.....p?t=485783
May 14th, 2009 at 7:12 pm
@SJ
Nice to see you again.
Actually it’s hard for me to answering questions, coz I’m still new to all of this. I didn’t even know there is a Opera Mobile thingy, unitl about three months ago I the xda-devs site encountered me. I’m sure theere will be mistakes in my answers, everybody just feel relax to correct me, please.
But I do like to ask questions, here’s one:
It’s concerning Manpreet’s Question. What about this: Everybody recommend his favourite software, and we have sort of vote, say everybody can vote two apps. And SJ will decide what to be put in the ROM according to the vote result. ?
May 16th, 2009 at 1:54 am

May 19th, 2009 at 12:32 am
Love this ROM but need help with a few issues:

Notification, corrupt ringtones - moved .wma ringtone to My Ringtones folder - worked once then under phone settings no playback of sound and screen hangs and continually has to be ended through task mgr.; no announcements of notifications - but phone rings fine
Will sometimes connect with Wifi but won’t bring up screen to view available networks.
Battery life much reduced from Rhodium Lite. Needs lots of resets - I flashed twice with hard resets…
any and all help greatly appreciated - this ROM is great if I could get these items fixed
May 19th, 2009 at 12:39 am
woops - just saw note about changing radio - will try that…I did see some mention somewhere about best radio for this ROM - can’t find it - any thoughts?

Guys,
Be careful to these apps: Advanced Configure Tools, Kaser Tweak, SPB PocketPlus, SKTools etc.
These apps are not designed for WM6.5. Better not too use them on this ROM.
Just FYI.

I’m gonna try flashing 1.70 or 71 tonight - I’ll let you know the results. where do you live & what carrier to you have? I’m in San Francisco with At&t.
the ringtones and notifications - is there someone out there with a fix??? I’ve researched and come up empty handed. It seems to be a common problem with the 6.5 ROMS
May 20th, 2009 at 9:44 am
@Larstein
I flashed the 1.71.09.01 last nite and it seems to be working ok, I don’t get that huge delay with incomming calls. Wifi and internet seem to be working good. I’m in Providence, RI with AT&T. And yes the notification problem seem to happen alot with the 6.5 rom and I’ve come up empty with finding a known solution however, after i flashed my current radio it has been working everytime. So give the 1.71.09.01 a try i got mine from the ultimate radio thread on xda.

@jbgoody80s
I say ‘be careful, better not to use’, bcoz wm65’s registry differs a lot from wm61. While ACT is based on WM61-. when the last version v3.3 released, WM6.5 not leaked yet. Besides, not sure if a tweak good for WM61, is that same good for WM65? Bcoz they may work in different way.
BTW. my experience is I can move saved place to storage card, but better not to move cache place to storage card. Since the r/w speed of card is rather slow, in addition there is a delay on first launch. Actually I put all my frequenties stay on internal memory, to ensure best performance.
Another experience is better do a soft reset after each tweak or install of an unknown software. Generally if it conflict with os, it will cause the reboot abnormally slower, then I know the probs immediately.
Just some experience, maybe wrong, since I’m nonpro.

Yea it works sometimes for me. I thought I had it going. It worked for a min then I went back into the notifications and I got the error again. Sometimes I get it back after a soft reset. I have no idea what the problem is
May 25th, 2009 at 12:11 am

May 25th, 2009 at 3:20 am
For the ringtone & notification issue, noe I see it maybe a compatibility issue. It never comes to me again since my last hard reset on 12th May. I did keep large titlebar & larged start menu untouched (as it is). And I did keep using the default theme till now. I did keep using default today plugin ‘titanium’ for two days. But I did installed QuickMenu (which disable the task manager dropdown button on today screen).I just avoid everything to conflict each other, it never comes. My HardSPL3.28, Radio 1.59.42.15 now. I don’t know what avoid that, but probably I think it’s software conflict, setting conflict or hardware setting (like button maping, keyboard fix etc.)
So anybody have problems with notification, please share these info:
What variant of Kaiser? Is that all ATT Tilt?
Hard SPL version.
Radio version.
What special app related to audiio are installed?
Where did you set the notifications? (there are two places, one start>Settings>Sounds & notifications, one start > settings>personal>phone, other way is tap the signal icon on title bar, then tap settings, it’s same as latterone)
What software noticablely wyried you device?
All in all, please share more info, so that we can trace the trouble.
For me,this ROM doesn’t need any fix,eeverything’s working fine.
May 25th, 2009 at 6:15 am
Has anybody test Garmin XT GPS with thie ROM version? I am having a lot of trouble making it work.
May 25th, 2009 at 9:33 am
@Wg5566
I have an AT&T Tilt using the Windows default plugin HardSPL3.29 Niki Radio 1.65.29.22. nothing special for audio just what came with the ROM have quick menu installed. use the start,setting,sounds and notifications method to change email and sms ringtone. for calls i just go into file manager and hold stylus on music file and select as ringtone. and naturally im using the tilt keyboard fix (its the TaurusBulba Tilt keyboard fix)
May 25th, 2009 at 5:09 pm

Does this version have MSVC?
May 28th, 2009 at 4:23 am
@Larstein & Jbgoode80,
What if you don’t change the ringtone to other than the three default ones?
I’m still confuzed, mine no problem. But I always use the second ringtone, since I’m pretty happy with it.
I tried to change rt to a mp3 file from file manager context menu, the change does not work, and it causes some problem with internet connection. After run ‘connection setup’ again and soft reset, everything recovered.In the whole process no problem with ringtone and notification. Maybe the prob frm ‘ringtone plugin’.maybe rplugin.dll
If you change radio, maybe try a ATT radio.
In the past I don’t use MSVC, but today I installed one, V.1.6.19971, I don’t know is that this version with good functioon, since I’m still not fimiliar wit it. But I can confirm ringtone has no trouble with it.
I already find out all my must-have apps to work on his rom and I really love it. Hope everybody can use it too.
Strange this well known WM65 bug does not occur on all devices.
May 28th, 2009 at 4:35 am
@Wg5566
After 5 flashes I have got everything working except MSVC notifications. I tried radios 1.70 & 1.71 - caused a lot of freeze and hangs. Using 1.65 with success. Ringtones, copied to My ringtones folder and they work. Wifi only worked after installing quick menu. Last issue is notifications which I love - I am using MSVC 1.6.19209 - I got one notification then it stopped.
Does your version give you notifications? Would love to get that working. thanks for all of your input…I was nearly ready to give up!

Just found another phone called myself, if you mean by the ringtone continues to sound, it is confirmed ok. But since Ithe two phones are using different networks, it doesn’t have caller id. I’ll try again with the same network.MSVC v1.6.19971
May 28th, 2009 at 5:13 am
Confirm, just like the same as I did not install MSVC, when the call coming in, the number and the name displayed on the screen, and the ring continues to sound. Same as before I did not install MSVC.

P.S. Im using this rom with the 1.71.09.01 radio.

@Eurasianboy
Please let us know what will happen if you manually run these two files in Windows folder: WLANSettings.exe & WiFiSettings.exe
@MSVC
I can not find the link for the one 1.6.19971 now, but I think I grasped it from Monx’s extention apps at that time.
http://forum.ppcwarez.org/view.....p;p=370066
There are some new builds like 21xxx or 20xxx out there on the internet .
But what I feel is that they will not be so easy for anyone to work with a WM65 ROM. Maybe old ones like 1.60.4622.0 worth a try.
The auther of this post should know all the secret, and he is still using the Jan 26th WM65ROM:

thnx sj for ur work on this one, i went back on ur old roms but i had to come back to this one coz i liked the feel of use for it.
i am having problems though;
1. everytime i switch my phone on or restart it, i get the messaging program opening (sms) and it does not show my sms though, so i have to close it and go on using the phone.
2. when i sometimes scroll thru my contacts, the color tends to jumble up and i can not c the selected contact clearly, like they all get saturated with the blue selecting color.
3. at times, the phone freezed for no reason, like i put it on and bam!!!, it is frozen, i have to restart it again.
So far, these are the problems i have with the phone, i solved the band selector issue, and also the notificaton thing. Aside these, those above are the problems i have now.
Thank you for ur work and may God Bless you richly!!

Maybe it’s becoz lack of sleep at night, or maybe becoz I did the post on the go, or probably becoz my English is not good. I found my last post did not contain useful info and may misguide buddies here, after some search work now I can make itclearer (I hope):
The problem with variouse builds of MSVC is that it does not work properly on anouncing incoming calls, or notifications or both of them. Aad if you enable the announcing function, it may crash with other apps on the phone.
Hence a better choice is to disable MSVC’s anouncing function and use the system’s built-in anounceing.
But, the systems built-in anounce of notifications does not allow Repeated notifications, this is common in WM system, not a bug in tis ROM.
A worse news is that M$ doesn’t seems to have a plan to upgrade MSVC, it’s planning to promote a placement app called ‘tellme’ in futurre formal release of WM6.5.
But, every problem has a solution, a guy named Mb286, has created a small app named ‘my missed calles’ to enable repeated and customizable notifications for missed calls, sms, mms, email, etc. I just tried it, works fine on my phone.
You can found it here:

Could be a temp solution for MSVC.

@Eurasianboy
I initially had the same experience. I had to install Quick menu - then it worked. Occasionally it comes back. Since I reflashed a couple of times it now works. I have Tilt with radio 1.65 - 1.70 and 1.71 didn’t work for me. So I would also try a few radios.

MSVC1.6 build 21040, download links can be founnd in this thread:
http://forum.ppcwarez.org/view.....p;p=370066
Aawesome app, MSVC, will become another my must-have.
May 31st, 2009 at 9:01 am
@Larstein
Maybe try to flash another HardSPL. I read somewhere that 3.29 best for Tilt, while 3.28 for TYTN II.
For radio, did you try this one: 1.59.42.15
My personal opinion, to choose a radio, better to find a ridio specially designed for an operator that has same system with your own operator. Say American operators use 850 &1900MHz band for GSM, different from Euroasia,hence US users betteruse a radio designed for US. There’s no theory behind this, only my personal assume.

To obtain a newer release or further information, please revisit the web site that you use to obtain your current beta release.”
I heard I need to upgrade or change the ROM
.. why is tht? Is there some kind of time limit in the cooked ROM’s like after months of use it will get blocked or something like tht ? So do I normally update the ROM like I have been doing so far ?
June 1st, 2009 at 9:10 am
What apps were you running when you got this msg?
June 1st, 2009 at 12:52 pm
^ I reflashed it in bootloader mode. I did got a chance to make a backup for my contacts .. I had an old backup so lost some of em’ … I wanna ask does this ROM also comes with Bomb time or some kind of ROM expiration time when that error comes up?
June 2nd, 2009 at 6:05 am

If you already successfully flashed a HardSpl on your phone, you can flash a ROM in this way:
1. Before connected to PC, enter the bootloader’s page first, (by the usual way of press and hold the camera button and press-in the reset whole by the stylus.)
2. Then after that, connect the phone to pc with USB cable.
3. After you see the USB on middle lower part of the bootloader’s page, run the KaiserCustomRUU.exe to flash the ROM on pc.
Everything is the same to the usual way of flashing a ROM through USB, this only shortcuted the ActiveSync, which tends to be unstable and may cause some problem.
Yesterday I decided to do another hard reset because I’m afraid the registry was messed up by trying all builds of MSVC and some finger ftiendly SIPs. Before hard reset, I did a lot of crazy things to the phone. I tried to trigger the time-bomb by all means, but did not find the way. But, I did triggered some strange issues on my phone, like screen flashes, self reboot etc. That make me think like the hardware on the phone was broken. Fortunately, after several consecutive hard reset all these strange activities gone. I’ll report later after I make it clearer.

@CrayzTurk
To enter in bootloader mode:
Simply Switch off your phone. Press and hold camera button and also press and hold the power button..You can remove ur finger from power button when phone is switched on but keep holding camera button until u come to bootloader …Now attach the usb to ur computer and do the flashing you normally do.

I’ve been using this ROM almost since it came out without too many problems. Over the weekend, the USB connection wizard stopped coming up to ask for ActiveSync or ICS, and now I don’t know how to get it back. If anyone knows, please help. Thanks.

I had the same problem, suddenly Active Sync stopped working. I solved this by deselecting the “Enable faster data syncronization” in the “USB to PC” settings (Settings / Connections).

@msvc
I have tried about every version out there - the best has been 1.6.19209 - still notifications don’t always work consistently - but this version works well with bluetooth. You can get it here
http://www.winmo-experts.com/v.....11&t=2 as well as a lot of info on MSVC
June 4th, 2009 at 2:23 am
@larstein
In the MSVC 1.6.21725, it DOES constantly anounce incoming msgs (sms, mms & email) THROUGH SPEAKER, I did not test BT becoz I don’t use it. It does even anounce the content of text and title of mail. Just I need to cancel the systems build-in notifications. I.e., in settings->sounds and notifications, uncheck the audio notifications for incoming text, mms & email msgs.
But it does not anounce incoming calls. It’s anounce for incoming calls is only a short beep, without reading nos or names.

Anybody knows what is the FPS number of Kaiser’s screeen? And any other properties of the screen. In some laptop we can adjust the the amount of Display Ram to enhancee the dedio quality. Is that possible for Kaiser?
I’m asking this becoz the buildin PIE can display Youtube vedio right on the webpage. But for some HQ ones not playing well. And in the latest Opera Mobile, we need to know the FPS to tweak the registry-HKLM-Software-Opera-Info.

@Wg5566
can’t quite comment on your fps question but if you want improved video performance, read on…
@EVERYONE !!!
it would be in the best interest for most kaiser users to know the recent availability of “gfxboost”…search for it on xda and read about it and try it and you will be amazed by the results! this utility has been the closest thing to a full blown driver that the kaiser has gotten so far…actual full drivers will probably never become a reality
once you find the thread on xda, read it thoroughly to see what kind of issues you might experience and how to use it properly. from that thread, you will also get an idea of the ROMs on which gfxboost is known/reported to work correctly.
i will mention that it works 100% fine on April 10th Rhodium ROM and also i am NOT ABLE to use EZKeyboard suite if gfxboost is installed. but i prefer the effect of gfxboost over a thumb-friendly on screen keyboard anytime!
June 6th, 2009 at 9:41 pm
@NutsPT, nokiarish, Larstein, Arvin, Eurasianboy, and probably others,
I had the same wifi problem after getting everything setup. I flashed the eMo radio, but to no avail. After a lot of trial and error, it seems to be the Omnia video drivers causing the problem. When I install HTC CA video drivers, the wifi works without any problems. I don’t understand how the video drivers could affect wifi, but it does.

any luck getting all the notifications to work consistantly? i havent had any luck at all. i have recently gotten into cooking my own roms. just playing around mostly learn how they r structured and such so maybe i can figure out ho wo get everything to work properly

hi sakajati,
first, thnx for ROM. and excuse me for my english.
I have a problem, I’ m install this ROM and running no problem but wi-fi is not search network… don’t search & find network and not enter any network. why not don’ t search & find ?
June 9th, 2009 at 3:48 pm
hi sakajati,
today, I push the start button (win logo) and don’ t came start menü. screen (desktop) and bottom link only (lock) nothing start menu anytime.
thank you.

@ASCIIKER
Thanks for your recommend for gfxbooster, it definitely is a nice app on most WM system. Just I did not find big effectiveness on this WM6.5 ROM, I’m sure it’s becoz on this ROM the video already optimized.
Regarding EZinput I’m curious about it too. I don’t use this kind of sip in the past since penpower for Chinese input already satisfied me, together with the build-in default keyboard for English.But later on I noticed these finger friendly sip really atractive and useful. I tried several apps with no luck. Anybody knows how to make any of these apps work on WM6.5, please share info: TouchPal, FingerInput & EZinpit.
@Garth
Maybe we do have hardware variations between tytnii & tilt, or among different lots of production. That may explain the different effects for different hardware drivers on different variants of Kaiser.
@MSVC
Maybe use SJ Utils to diable wm65 screenlock can help with MSVC. You can still lock the screen after do it, just in a wm61 way without slide lock.
@All
I’ve been working on Opera Mobile these days. A good news is the new released Official 9.7b1 build works perfect on this ROM, and if you installed FlashLite 3.1 Distributable Player first, no need any tweaks it works right away with flash content. Recommend after install the 9.7b2, do a soft reset and connect to the internet first before launch it.

Dear SJ,
I visited this site again after a long time with assumption tht toolbar sort of thingy would not be mandatory anymore but…. I did use you your ROM once it was okey but the moment you switched to this site and imposed toolbar thingy for downloading i stopped using your ROMs (specially after reading your reponse to one user “Is that mandatory to install hyperdragon” on his question “is it mandatory to install this toolbar”).
Hope that someday you will remove it and provide us with direct links here or on XDA then will definately try them once again. There could be some other users who did face the same issue.

Lo & behold, MSVC started announcing incoming calls - this is the first time ever & I have used it on many different ROMs. The only new program I added was SPB shell and weather. How would that impact MSVC?
Are these programs sharing some file? I don’t know enough to understand this…
June 11th, 2009 at 2:04 am
@Larstein,
Congratulations for you to solved the MSVC issue.
June 11th, 2009 at 5:27 am
@larstien
what version of MSVC are you using? and what did you do to make it work? did you turn off the phone’s notifications? I ended up cooking my own rom and everything is working perfect except for the messaging opening up on its own and not displaying any messages
June 11th, 2009 at 5:52 am
@jbgoode80 & Wg5566
Oh,I did not fix it - the only thing i did was install SPB Mobile Shell. How would that effect MSVC? I am using Bengalih’s v.1.6.19209 - I have always had all notifications turned on.
What version MSVC are you using in your new cooked ROM? I am jealous - I wish I could cook my own ROMS
June 11th, 2009 at 6:10 am
@larstein
i have no idea how that would affect msvc. wm6.5 is weird. i am not using msvc in my rom at all i have cyberon voice commander(dont like it much) there r alot of kitchens and tutorials on xda that u can find im using one from joshkoss and a few others dont remember who off the bat. u can email me at yahoo for info.
June 12th, 2009 at 1:38 am
There is some mistake on my previous post concerning Opera Mobile 9.7b1. The truth is we don’t need to install the flash lite distributable player on the phone, the new OM9.7 will work with flash right away. But we need to install it if using other versions of Opera Mobile.
And thedownload link is wrong, it’s for WM5. The correct link for Flash Lite 3.1 Distributable Player for WM6 Pro is:
http://download.macromedia.com.....wm6_en.zip
@MSVC
What about 1.6.21725? In my experience it just can not announce incoming call. Disable this function and using the ringtone is ok. For notifications need to disable the OS systemsettings. But interesting part is: Afterd disabled the system notifications, actually both system and MSVC notifctn start to work. Example, when an e-mail comes, first I’ll heir ‘You got a mail!’ And then MSVC start to anounce the sender’s name & subject. Is that the probs wiz BT?
June 16th, 2009 at 9:56 am
Hi,
I have flashed this rom, and my wifi doesn’t seem to work. On wireless lan settings, when i select “change network”, instead of seeing a list of networks i get to the “Configure Network Adapters” page. Anybody else seeing this? Any clue how to fix it?
Thx,
/B
June 16th, 2009 at 10:14 am
Duuh,
There weren’t so many messages last time I checked this thread. But still, it doesnt seem like we have a real solution to the problem. I tried flashing quite a few times now, and looks like changing radio deoesn’t quite help.
SJ?

June 16th, 2009 at 11:19 am
I think i figured out a solution. Installing SJ’s comm manager works. I tried installing the htc-ca drivers and reboot first. Didn’t help. After that, i installed the comm manager and reboot. As soon as it came up it found the wireless networks, and i was able to connect using wifi. Hope this helps to the others..
Cheers,
/E
This is from SJ’s thread in XDA-developers forum.
Known Issue/Bugsfixes:
* CommMgr Wifi button not enable when connected to PC thru activesync
Solution:
Install this CommMgr: http://www.4shared.com/file/66....._2130.html . Make sure CommMgr not running in the background prior installing this cab.
June 16th, 2009 at 7:54 pm
WiFi problem was fixed for me immediately after installing HTC CA drivers. I use the comm manager included with HDIV. (I use a hidden network and was not able to add a network - no option to ‘add new’)
Interestingly most of my previously (standard AT&T 6.1 ROM) MP3 ringtones don’t work any more. I just get an error message. Just one actually still works (out of around 20). Anyone seen this?
June 16th, 2009 at 8:17 pm
I just discovered the files that do play are WAVs and the ones that don’t are MP3s. Does HDIV need a 3rd party MP3 codec?
June 18th, 2009 at 11:19 am
hey sakajati.. can you upload the rock and republic default theme for titanium by itself? I don’t have a kaiser anymore but I would still like to use this theme on another phone! thanks!

thanks

the Mobile Word - says it “can’t find file” when trying to create a “new” doc. It won’t create a new doc. I did use Advanced Config to move the My Documents to the storage card…??

About the Word Mobile - “An error occurred. The document could not be opened” Excel is fine - maybe the Word default template is missing?

July 16th, 2009 at 10:54 pm
@ Afser
Thanks, your solution for the wifi-network problem works for me!
July 25th, 2009 at 2:05 am
@afser and anyone else that had wifi issues
I don’t use this rom but I had the same problem and while searching for the answer I came across this page. I believe I have come across a sure fix for it. I believe it is related to wifi not being enabled when plugged into the computer. Perhaps during rom installation wifi isn’t installed properly because of this. What I did to fix this is copied my rom to my internal storage and flashed from triggered bootloader and it worked. I theorize the results would be the same if the phone was unplugged after the rom was finished loading and rebooted BUT BEFORE the customizations run - I’m not sure and I don’t have time to test this before work.
Just thought I would drop a possible one shot fix for everyone.
August 8th, 2009 at 1:00 am
heyy everyone
where is sakajati and when is the next updated rom coming out. thanks
August 17th, 2009 at 10:06 pm
By the way, I now understand the root cause of the wifi problem. On wm6.5, when you are connected to the computer via a usb cable, the wifi is disabled. So if you keep your newly flashed phone connected to the computer after the flashing is over, the first initialization of the system would not setup the wifi.
To solve this. As soon as the phone is finished with flashing and reboots it self, you take out the usb cable and let the phone restart by itself. This way, the wifi is initialized just fine with no add on install required.
Cheers,
/a
