In a nutshell, each rom version is different since they’re built using different sources/based rom. I prefer not to call it as an update, since sometimes newer build is not better than older/previous build. Each rom version may also have different packages, eg: 25 Des has manila2d cooked in while 6 Jan doesn’t include manila2d. You should try them all and keep the one that fit your needs.

Goto accuweather.com, type your city and grab the code on address bar, insert the code into HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml, replace manila2d.exe with the patched version here: HTC Weather, problem & fix

You can’t uninstall it, but you can disable it. Launch Voice Command and uncheck Enabled option.

One question though: I seem to have lost the “gear” icon on all the Mortscripts in the Utils start menu folder.
How can I get it back?
Also for that matter, all of your icon.lnk files point to ::ALIASES… aliases to what?

Huh .. did you uninstalled mortscript? Just run mortscript.cab located in \windows folder.

@freshmaker, here’s how to do it:
1. Install HTCHome or Manila 2D.
2. Disable HTCHome or Manila 2D plugin (Start-> Settings-> Today-> Items)
3. Copy HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml from your device (located in \HTCHome folder for HTCHome, \Windows folder for Manila 2D) to PC. Open it using Notepad2 and insert your city:
<city name=”Pristina, CS” loca=”EUR|CS|YI003|PRISTINA” land=”Serbia And Montenegro”/>
You can delete all other cities if you don’t need them.
4. Copy the file back to your device.
5. Enable the plugin and select your city.

I’ve never used any roms but I’m considering it. I’m pretty frustrated with my at&t tilt because its pretty slow doing anything. Do these roms help? Also, I’m considering the iphone theme also, how does your rom rate up against these iphone themes? Just asking since I’ve never done it.

Oh and I do have windows mobile 6.1. Just can’t play any videos with the browser and visit flash sites, just sucks so hopefully you can help with your roms.

One thing for sure, once you have use this rom you’ll never go back to that crappy old stock roms. Just make sure you read these manuals first before you start flashing:
ROM Upgrading
Flashing your First Rom (For Newbs)
When you think you’re ready, go here to download roms. I recommend to use the 25 Dec version as your first rom.
Oh make sure you also read the whole pages of HyperDragon thread at xda-developers.

hey dude!
i have a stock rom on my tytn 2 (my phone came with 6.0, i later upgraded the rom to 6.1 officialy)
the hard spl version, as i checked in the bootloader mode, is 3.29
do i still have to flash the hard spl again in order to flash ur roms or can i flash them without doing the hard spl?
please advice.
